Experts say that up to age 7, we walk around in a hypnotic state in which our subconscious mind is programmed with the 100,000+ rules we need to know to be a productive human being in society. This programming creates our beliefs and programs, which are given to us by our parents, teachers, and others. These programs reside in our subconscious minds until we decide to change them. How do we change the programming? Two ways - repetition and hypnosis. Repetition. If we do something enough, it gets programmed into our subconscious and we no longer need to think about it anymore. It becomes a habit and we no longer need to think about doing it, we just do it. The downside of repetition is that it takes a LOT of energy. This is the will-power sourced motivation and determination. It works, it just takes a lot of work. Hypnosis. On the other hand, hypnosis is direct access to the subconscious mind. Here we are able to see the programs and beliefs and intentionally reprogram those thoughts and beliefs to serve us today, rather than the child of us from years ago. Experts say 95% of our life comes from our subconscious mind - the programs and beliefs given to us by others. Only 5% of our mind power comes from our conscious mind, the creative part that knows our wishes and desires. If something is difficult for you to do "naturally", you are most likely working against your subconscious mind's beliefs and programs. Look at the areas in your life where you struggle. Then look at your programming.
Many of us have similar programs running through our subconscious minds that create the similar drama that we all deal with. Things like:
Is it any wonder with beliefs and programs like these we struggle with self-esteem, confidence, making decisions, setting and reaching goals? With 5-PATH hypnosis and the advanced techniques involved, we are able to sort out the erroneous beliefs and programs, which are the root causes of most of our troubles. Then you decide what you want your true beliefs and programs to be, and we integrate these insights back into your subconscious. This is how things that use to be so difficult before, now become easy. It's because the new programs and beliefs are just a part of our subconscious mind and they automatically run 95% of our day, without any conscious effort. And this is how hypnosis works and gives us lasting results!
Hypnosis works – even when everything else has failed!
Even if you’ve tried other things to resolve your issue, hypnosis can still work because it works differently – it taps into the power of the subconscious mind where our memories and emotions are stored.
Hypnosis is a normal and natural state of mind.
You’ve likely been in a state of hypnosis hundreds of times in your life. Everyday states of hypnosis include: listening to great music, reading a good book, and watching a good movie. A light state of hypnosis is achieved anytime you lose track of time.
You are always in control during Hypnosis.
Your hypnotist has no control over you. Hypnosis stage shows where people do crazy things are for entertainment! That’s not what happens in a hypnosis office. Your hypnotist serves as a guide, or coach, it’s a consensual state. Your hypnotist will work with you to understand your needs, and goals, and that will be an important part of the hypnosis process and suggestions they give you while in hypnosis.
You’ll be conscious and alert the whole time in Hypnosis.
We want you to remember all the insight you gain from the hypnosis session, so unless you’re using hypnosis for medical purposes including surgery, you’ll be conscious and alert the whole time.
Hypnosis works below the level of conscious thinking.
This means you become aware of things that you have not been aware of before – leading to powerful insight!
Hypnosis works for nearly every issue.
Hypnosis can help you change habits, reduce the sensation of pain, increase motivation, help you heal from past experiences, help you find lost items, eliminate fear, and help with spiritual growth – plus many other common everyday issues.
Hypnosis works really fast.
Just as our brain can learn a phobia quickly – which is a learned fear, our brain can learn a new response to an old situation very quickly. The brain is lightning fast and can change using neuroplasticity.
Hypnosis is a state of mind - not a feeling.
feeling. Hypnosis is not a feeling – it’s a state of mind. Some people feel light – like their floating, some feel grounded and safe – like a tree. Others feel nothing at all, or a light buzzing feeling. They’re all correct – but it’s different for every person.
Hypnosis is not sleep, nor is it relaxation.
Hypnosis is focused awareness where you are highly receptive to positive suggestion. It is not sleep, nor relaxation. We often have you focus on relaxation in the hypnosis office to help you focus. But there will be many times where you feel excited, or with lots of energy.
Hypnosis is very powerful and helps you be your best self.
Hypnosis helps you tap into your best self – your inherent power. Practice self-hypnosis daily to increase focus, concentration, and the ability to relax and recharge quickly.
Everyone can be hypnotized!
Anyone who is able and willing to follow instruction can be hypnotized, and you cannot be hypnotized against your will. It is a consensual state. It works best when you really want to make changes in your life but are having a hard time doing so or a hard time following through.
